Unbundling Resources for Attorneys
This page is designed to provide assistance to attorneys interested in providing unbundled legal services. Unbundling allows clients to hire an attorney to assist them with only part of their case, such as drafting documents or appearing at a single hearing. Unbundled matters are completed in a fraction of the time of full representation. This means that attorneys generally charge lower fees for unbundled matters. This benefits clients because litigants who otherwise would have had no assistance from an attorney can afford to hire a lawyer. Attorneys also benefit because it allows them to expand their client base and reduces the number of uncollectible accounts.
Below are forms, sample fee agreements, and a toolkit with resources for practitioners. Check back with us as we add additional resources to this page.
Also, check out our directory of attorneys offering unbundled services. If you’re interested in being listed, contact us. Attorneys must be able to demonstrate that they currently offer or will offer unbundled services in order to be listed. Additional requirements apply.
