Each year during October, Arkansas lawyers and judges come together to honor the work of pro bono attorneys and to host pro bono events across the state. Attorneys who take the time to do pro bono are critical to ensuring that all Arkansans are able to access justice. Pro bono plays an important role in protecting survivors of domestic violence, defending the rights of seniors who have fallen victim to fraud, and ensuring that children have access to a safe home.
This year, for the first time, Access to Justice will be hosting a Pro Bono Week Kickoff Reception at Diamond Bear Brewing in North Little Rock. We will be honoring seven attorneys for their commitment to pro bono service. This year’s honorees are:
- Lori Holzwarth, Hyden, Miron & Foster
- Diana Turner, Baim Law Firm
- Brooks Gill, Gill Law Firm
- Donna Price, Law Office of Donna M. Price
- Ariel Snyder, Womack, Phelps, Puryear, Mayfield & McNeil
- Russell Winburn, Odom Law Firm
- Jeannie Winston, Winston Law Firm
