The Arkansas Access to Justice Commission, Foundation Board, and their committees wish to broaden opportunities for involvement in our work, and we’d love for you to consider joining us in working to make access to justice a reality for all Arkansans. If you are interested in serving, please complete this application for consideration. Because Commissioners and Foundation board members are appointed by outside agencies, submission of an application is not a guarantee that you will be selected for service.
Our current Commission and board openings are for representatives of the business and banking sectors, but we are also very much in need of committee members with a variety of perspectives and backgrounds. Plus, it’s a great way to learn about our work and get a sense for the level of commitment required for service on the Commission or Foundation board.
In selecting Commissioners, board members, and committee members, the appointing agencies and our organizations seek broad diversity in background and experience, as well as diversity in race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, and geography.
Expectations for those wishing to serve on our Commission can be found here, and expectations for Foundation board members can be found here. Commission members subject to appointment by the Governor’s office should, in addition, complete the Boards and Commissions online application.
