Access to Justice Attends Rural Life Conference at University of Arkansas Pine Bluff

On Friday, March 15, 2024, the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff hosted the Rural Life Conference, where over 500 attendees created a bustling hub of community spirit and shared commitment to rural development.

Arkansas Access to Justice participated in the event’s Legal Clinic, showcasing our innovative Courthouse Kiosks and the Free Legal Answers programs, aimed at providing crucial legal information to underserved communities.

Our civil legal aid organizations, Legal Aid of Arkansas and the Center for Arkansas Legal Services, extended their services at the clinic to include assistance with wills, deeds, and other legal matters critical to the livelihood of our rural population.

Other organizations involved in the Legal Clinic were the KKAC Organization, Bowen School of Law Business Innovations Clinic and Bowen School of Law Tax Clinic.
