Welcome, Professor Amelia McGowan!

We would like to give a warm welcome to the newest addition to the Arkansas Access to Justice Commission, Prof. Amelia McGowan!

Prof. McGowan is an Assistant Professor and Immigration Clinic Director at the University of Arkansas School of Law.

Prof. McGowan’s advocacy efforts on the American Bar Association’s Commission on Immigration and her experience as the Immigration Campaign Director at the Mississippi Center for Justice, demonstrate her proactive approach to effecting change on a broader scale and highlight her unwavering dedication to representing and empowering marginalized communities. We are honored to have her join our Commission and eagerly anticipate her contributions to our mission of promoting access to justice for all.

Once again, we welcome Prof. McGowan to the Arkansas Access to Justice Commission. We look forward to collaborating with her to make a meaningful impact in advancing justice and equity.
