Free Legal Answers

A Virtual Legal Advice Clinic for Arkansas

Free Legal Answers is a virtual legal advice clinic that increases access to legal information for Arkansans who cannot afford a lawyer. Through this secure online platform, qualifying users can post civil legal questions and receive basic legal advice from volunteer Arkansas attorneys—without any expectation of long-term representation and at no cost.

How It Works

Arkansas residents who meet income guidelines can post their non-criminal legal questions online. Volunteer lawyers review these questions and provide information and basic legal advice through the platform. There is no fee for using the system or for the advice provided.

Whether you’re here to get help or give help, Free Legal Answers is bridging Arkansas’s justice gap one question at a time.

Annual Impact Reports

Each year, we track the growth and impact of Arkansas Free Legal Answers to measure how effectively we’re serving Arkansans and engaging the legal community. These reports highlight volunteer participation, client service rates, partnership development, and program expansion efforts.

Our annual reports demonstrate the collective effort of volunteer attorneys, law students, partner libraries, and academic institutions working together to ensure that income doesn’t determine access to legal advice in Arkansas.
