      • Combining the JBR and the Power Act CLE (In collaboration with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas)

      • 2 sponsorships have been pledged ($1,000 from the University of Arkansas School of Law and $500 from the Benton County Bar Association). Two are pending from the William H. Bowen School of Law and the Washington County Bar.

      • Language Justice Project
        • Court Forms Translation Project: 93 forms completed from several district and circuit courts. Languages requested are Spanish, Karen and Marshallese.
        • Plan to increase the number of Marshallese court interpreters and reinstate the Marshallese interpreter certification exam.
        • Partnership with Ignite Law and Policy and Ignite Marketing and Social Media to create plain English videos on basic legal concepts and resource access. Our goal is to also make them available in several other languages.
      • AR Free Legal Answers
        • Outreach: Plan to use public libraries to expand use in underserved and untapped counties
        • Virtual Clinics: There are 20 scheduled between March and December. You can sign up to join us here.
        • Closed 2023 with a 5 percent increase in our answer rate (from 84% to 89%)
